Summer Camp 2009

August 4, 2009

Friday - 6/26 One more day of classes. In Camping finished the conservation project. In Cooking, we cooked cow tougue - which tastes like steak. Indian Lore - finished the Merit Badge early so we got to play Volley ball - had a lot of fun. In Lifesaving, had to take off our regular clothes in 20 seconds, grab a towel, dive into the pool and save someone. At Rifle, had to clean the guns. Then it was off to dinner and clean up. Saturday - 6/27 Our last day of camp. Breakfast Pack up our camp - say our good byes and head home. One more year of Summer Camp comes to an end. The weather was hot, the food was good, the fellowship was great and everyone left with plans to come back next year. We worked hard to earn our Merit Badges and had a lot of fun in the process. Can't wait until next year. Go Panthers and Troop 356 [More]
